"shiboridashi" is a tea utensil recommended for those who want to savor gyokuro and premium sencha teas.
The shallow-bottomed, wide-bore design of this teaware makes it ideal for delicious tea when brewed at low temperatures, bringing out the full flavor and sweetness of the tea leaves.
When the tea leaves open up, it is easy to slowly pour every last drop into the cup.

Gyokko(玉光) is a three-generation potter who makes Tokoname kyusu by hand.
Tokonameyaki refers to pottery made in the Tokoname region of Aichi Prefecture. It is a traditional craft born at the end of the Heian period (794-1185). It is considered one of the six oldest kilns in Japan and is known as a pottery that has been produced for a long time since the Middle Ages.
