This is a compact set of a Chasen and a Chashaku in a convenient bamboo tube case for carrying. A folded Chashaku can be placed inside the handle of the Chasen.
This portable Chasen set is made by Chasen artisans in Takayama City, Nara Prefecture, a city with 500 years of tradition.
White bamboo, the raw material for tea whisk, is dried in the sun and cold wind. This process removes oil and water from the bamboo, giving it a shiny and beautiful white appearance.
The tips of the tea whisk are more flexible and durable than those made in other countries.
Anyone can easily make delicious matcha with fluffy, fine foam and creamy finish.

Please Note: The finish may vary slightly due to the use of natural bamboo.
