Chashaku is a traditional Japanese tea utensil used to scoop matcha and put it into a matcha bowl.
Two scoops (about 2 grams) are enough to make one cup of tea.
Susudake (soot-colored bamboo) chasshaku are made by chasen artisans in Takayama, Nara, a place with a 500-year tradition.
Please Note: The finish may vary slightly due to the use of natural bamboo.
