This is a set of tea ware for Gyokuro (high-grade green tea) and Sencha (middle-grade green tea) .
Agano-yaki has a wide variety of glazes. Various glazes are used, including copper glaze, ash glaze, iron glaze, and sansai glaze, which is a mixture of copper and iron.
Since it was developed as a tea ceremony pottery, it is extremely light and thin compared to other ceramics.
It has been handed down to the present day with the elegant characteristics of thinly made pottery that is comfortable to the senses and has the simplicity and strength of clay.
