Handmade matcha bowls with beautiful natural colors are thin, light, and delicate, as they are ground and molded with a potter's wheel.
The pale pink and orange colors of the glaze due to the kiln changes enhance the matcha.

Hagi ware, which is highly regarded as a tea pottery, has a saying, "Hagi's seven changes.
This means that as Hagi ware is used for many years, its color changes and it takes on a "wabi" or "sabi" look.
